The Buildings and Factories business of L&T Oman has been awarded the contract of the hotel, a project being developed by Eagle Hills Muscat – a partnership between Eagle Hills Abu Dhabi and Izz International, and managed by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

The project involves the construction of the hotel as well as super luxury residences. ‘L&T will oversee the overall construction within the site, which includes a 150-key hotel and 156 units of branded residences, as well as 1,622sq m of retail areas, podium and basement. ‘L&T will also undertake the associated external works, services, and hard and soft landscaping works,’ the company stated. Mandarin Oriental, Muscat -set to open in 2021 - will feature 150 guestrooms and suites, five restaurants and bars, the Spa at Mandarin Oriental, and an outdoor swimming pool. The project will also comprise 156 residences that are being introduced for the first time in the region and will feature some of the most select private apartments in the capital ranging from 75sq to 260sq m in size. A variety of banqueting and meeting spaces will also be available to accommodate social and business events.

Situated in a prime beachfront location along the luxurious Shatti al Qurum, offering residents and visitors uninterrupted sea views and access to a blissful beach promenade. The residential units on offer include one-, two-, and three-bedroom luxury apartments and two penthouses comprising four bedrooms each.

The development will benefit from other facilities such as 24hr concierge, maintenance and security, private residents-only access and drop-off area, valet parking, retail outlets and access to an exclusive residents-only lounge.

Additional recreational amenities exclusive for residents include a swimming pool with a kids’ pool, a common residents’ lounge, a multi-purpose room, a children’s playroom and a private residential courtyard
