New 24x7 souq coming up in Oman


Muscat: Work is underway to establish a 24-hour souq in Wilayat Seeb, according to the head of real estate developer BBH Group.

Dr. Khalid bin Salem Al Muta'ani, Chairman of BBH Group, said that the group is working on establishing an integrated public market in Wilayat Seeb with more than 1,000 shops that will be open 24 hours a day.

Al Muta'ani said during a media discussion the market project is still in progress and will begin immediately after all government proceedings are completed. The chairman also expressed hope that this market will be a feature of the future Wilayat Seeb.
